چکیده
Abstract. The Ionospheric Photometer (IPM) is carried on the Feng Yun 3-D (FY3D) meteorological satellite, which allows for measurement of far-ultraviolet (FUV) airglow radiation in thermosphere. IPM a compact and high-sensitivity nadir-viewing FUV remote sensing instrument. It monitors 135.6 nm emission nightside thermosphere N2 Lyman–Birge–Hopfield (LBH) emissions dayside that can be used to invert peak electron density F2 layer (NmF2) at night O/N2 ratio daytime, respectively. Preliminary observations show could monitor global structure equatorial ionization anomaly (EIA) around 02:00 LT using atomic oxygen (OI) nightglow. also identify reduction high-latitude region during geomagnetic storm 26 August 2018. IPM-derived NmF2 agrees well with observed by four ionosonde stations along 120∘ E standard deviation 26.67 %. Initial results demonstrate performance meets design requirements therefore study ionosphere future.

Estimating ground-level PM10 using satellite remote sensing and ground-based meteorological measurements over Tehran
BACKGROUND AND METHODOLOGY Measurements by satellite remote sensing were combined with ground-based meteorological measurements to estimate ground-level PM10. Aerosol optical depth (AOD) by both MODIS and MISR were utilized to develop several statistical models including linear and non-linear multi-regression models. These models were examined for estimating PM10 measured at the air quality sta...
متن کاملFar ultraviolet remote sensing of ionospheric emissions by Polar BEAR
AbstructA few thousands of far ultraviolet images of the ionosphere were obtained since December 1986 by the Atmospheric/Ionospheric Remote Sensor (AIRS) aboard the Polar BEAR satellite. Fast algorithms for applying automated satelliteattitude, geometric, and photometric corrections to these images were developed, and the first results are discussed. A software package that is based on these al...
